About Us
Nousharek is an independent, non-governmental, non-profit Lebanese organization that has no political or religious affiliation.
Nousharek works to raise awareness, and evaluate and improve the knowledge about sustainable development and social responsibility among local communities, stakeholders and decision-makers through work programs in five sectors.
NOUSHAREK – Cana Youth Association previously- was founded in 2016 in Qana Al-Jalil village – Southern Lebanon by a group of young women and men from Qana out of their sense of responsibility and their desire to contribute to addressing the difficult environmental, economic, and social challenges their village and the whole country have been facing.
Since 2020, the association has been working to achieve its mission by expanding knowledge about sustainable development and organizing a number of developmental and social programs, projects, and activities that aim to bring immediate and long-term changes based on deep understanding of the needs of the society.
